Health Insurance

California Northstate University College of Pharmacy has obtained an excellent Student Health Insurance Policy through United Healthcare for a low group rate. The fee for this policy is paid directly to the school and is billed on a bi-annual basis. The policy allows students to have continuous health coverage throughout the year including break periods.

Mental Health Program

Mental Health Counseling

Mental health counseling is available to students at CNUCOP through the school's Counseling Office, the county of Sacramento, and private counselors in the area (by referral only). A list of referrals is available in the Office of Student Affairs and Admissions. Students who have elected to use the Student Health Insurance offered by the school and administered by United Healthcare, have access to mental health counseling as part of their policy. A small co-pay may be required.
