About

Dr. Kassem obtained his B.Pharm from Lebanon and his PharmD degree from Shenandoah University, Virginia. He’s registered California pharmacist and Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS). Prior to joining CNUCOP, Dr. Kassem worked as a pharmacist for John Hopkins Medical Center Saudi Arabia, Texas General Hospital, Adventist health hospital, Rite Aid Pharmacy Chains and Drug Stores and with Sutter health coordination program as clinical pharmacist. Dr. Kassem acts as a preceptor for pharmacy students and volunteered in multiple pharmacy settings such as annual medicare health fair programs and at the Vietnamese Cancer Awareness, Research, and Education Society (VN CARES). Dr. Kassem completed multiple certifications from CPhA such as Lipid Management program, Advanced pharmacy practice and Arizona Pharmacy Association Anticoagulation Certificate Training Program. He has completed an ACLS certificate, compounded pharmacotherapy options used in pain management, and essential elements of prescriptions in Hormone therapy. Dr. Kassem has a certificate of completion as clinical pharmacist training program in primary care from University of Michigan-College of Pharmacy.
