Dr. De Martini is an adjunct associate professor at California Northstate University In her role as Chief Executive Officer for California Society of Health System Pharmacists (CSHP), Dr. De Martini provides leadership and advocacy for pharmacy professionals to optimize medication therapy for Californian citizens.

Prior to being appointed as CEO of CSHP she held multiple senior level leadership positions with the California Department of Public Health including; Deputy Director of the Office of Quality Performance and Accreditation, Chief of the Healthcare Associated Infections Program, and Chief Pharmaceutical Consultant with responsibility for pharmacy services in health care facilities. In addition to her leadership roles with CDPH she has held national leadership roles inclusive of; CMS Hospital Faculty, American Society of Consultant Pharmacist Advisory Board, CMS Long Term Care Expert Panel, and membership on the Public Health Accreditation Improvement Advisory committee.

She currently serves as an associate clinical professor at University of California, San Francisco, School of Pharmacy and is an associate clinical professor, Touro University, School of Pharmacy. She is a Fellow with the Health Care Leaders Network with California Health Care Foundation and was appointed, in 2018, to the Health Impact Board of Directors.

Dr. DeMartini has authored several peer reviewed papers on medication safety and has received multiple awards on outstanding leadership in public health including a 2016 California Assembly Resolution for her public health service in 2016. In 2017 she was named University of Pacific Alumnus of the year and in 2019 she was inducted into the California Pharmacy Association Hall of Fame.

Dr. De Martini graduated from University of Pacific, School of Pharmacy, and is board certified in geriatrics.
