CNUCOP’s journey to full Liaison Committee for Medical Education (LCME) accreditation is a voluntary, peer-reviewed process that adheres to the accreditation standards outlined in the LCME document, Functions and Structure of a Medical School. Receiving LCME accreditation means students are eligible to take the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) and graduates are eligible for residency programs accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).
