We are excited to announce that the professional development project submitted by California Northstate University College of Pharmacy SSHP Chapter as part of the ASHP-SSHP Recognition Program application

has received the Outstanding Professional Development Project Award.

Projects were evaluated on:

·         Creativity & Resourcefulness

·         Service, Outreach & Impact

·         Overall impression

Receiving an Outstanding professional Development Project Award is a title of distinguished honor. The winner will present the winning project at the Student Society Showcase at the 2016 Midyear Clinical Meeting.


The Student Society Showcase poster will receive a winner’s ribbon and awardees will be recognized during the Pharmacy Student Forum Awards Ceremony. 




Congratulations to our students who competed at the 2016 CSHP Meeting in Anaheim California this year!


At the Clinical Skills competition, our students have placed well against the other teams from California.


At the Quiz Bowl event, our team placed Third! Our team has consistently placed among the Top Three over the years!


What is much important is to have fun, to meet people from other places, and to try our best!!

AMCP Foundation 2017 P&T Competition - Finalist

Dear Faculty Advisors, Chapter Presidents, and P&T Coordinators,

The AMCP Foundation congratulates all teams competing this year. It very an exceptionally close competition all the way around. We hope this has been a valuable experience and the knowledge gained is a benefit to each student pharmacist’s experience. Team feedback from the judges will be sent to the P&T Coordinators next month.

The semi-finals are comprised of two rounds. The top 12 scoring listed below teams advanced to the 2nd round of the semi-finals.

Timothy Tam Scholarship

Congratulations to the P1 pharmacy students Chuong Duong, Diep Nguyen, Alexa Ang, Fengjia Wen, Jeffrey Chan, and Paniz Jenabzadeh for receiving the Timothy Tam scholarship, which is awarded by the Northern California Education Foundation to P1 students for academic excellence. The Timothy Tam Scholarship Funds are made possible through the generous donation of the family of Timothy Tam to help educate aspiring pharmacists in honor of Timothy Tam’s wife, Paulina Tam. On behalf of the California Northstate University College of Pharmacy, thank you to the Timothy Tam family and congratulations to scholarship recipients for their didactic achievements!
